Antisemitism Watch is an independent, non-commercial project that tracks how antisemitism surfaces in the public record: media coverage of antisemitic events worldwide, side by side with official statistics — on a map, in charts, and as a browsable archive with sources. For authoritative incident counts, refer to the official figures; our archive measures visibility.

The dataset combines several layers. A curated layer of documented incidents compiled from reputable public reporting (wire services, national outlets, community security organizations, Wikipedia). An autonomous layer that runs daily — RSS feeds of Jewish news outlets, Google News in 12 languages (to catch local incidents worldwide), and the GDELT news index — extracting an approximate location and classifying each incident. And an official-data layer imported from open databases: OSCE ODIHR anti-Semitic hate crimes and NYC OpenData (NYPD) records. Auto-collected entries are labeled as such.

Locations are approximate (city level). Categories and severity are editorial classifications. If you spot an error, a duplicate, or an incident we missed — write to us; corrections are welcome.

Classification criterion: we follow the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism. The archive additionally includes event data from the Antisemitic Incidents Tracker (trackantisemitism.org, CC BY 4.0), official statistics from the FBI Crime Data Explorer (public domain) and Statistics Canada (Open Licence), and references the ADL Global 100 attitude index as a separate, non-incident metric.
